The second annual Gjergj Kastrioti Scholarship Fund Fundraising Gala will be held at the San Marino Club in Troy, MI on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 7:00pm. The proceeds of the event will be used to support Albanian-American scholars in the state of Michigan who are pursuing a four-year degree in one of our state’s colleges and universities. Over 200,000 Albanian-Americans call Michigan home and this organization is helping produce its leaders of tomorrow.

The Gjergj Kastrioti Scholarship Fund is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 38-3578998) founded in 1999 with the following mission: support Albanian-American youth in their pursuit of higher education by providing scholarship support. It was founded by a group of Albanian-American university graduates who wanted to make a difference and give back to the community they loved so much.

In the past 16 years, the Fund has awarded 67 scholarships and raised almost $125,000. The legacy of promoting proactive philanthropy and community development continues and we seek your help in raising funds so we can support even more Albanian-American students as they pursue a college degree.
